“How much Abloh is too much Abloh”

Virgil Abloh recently announced yet another Nike collab for Louis Vuitton‘s Spring/Summer 2022 “Amen Break” men’s collection. However, the artist’s genius isn’t confined to fashion. Swipe to take a look at some of Abloh’s most random collabs:

A water bottle
Abloh collaborated with evian® to create a series of reusable glass bottles. The “hydration accessory” featured a ‘Rainbow Inside’ slogan and sold out almost instantly.

Cups, napkins and more
The designer collaborated with the now controversial green-tea chain Cha Cha Matcha for an exclusive merch capsule which featured packaging, cups, sleeves, napkins and apparel.

Champagne
For this random collab, Abloh slapped one of his famous phrases on a bottle of Moët & Chandon rosé champagne. If only an overpriced Off-White champagne bottle could make the champagne taste better.

Furniture
Abloh found yet another way to enter our houses- this time it’s furniture. Swedish furniture retailer Ikea collaborated with Virgil’s Off-White to release a collection of home pieces. The collection included a table, shelving, rugs and a bag with slogans like “WET GRASS” and “KEEP OFF”.

Album Covers
Covers designed by Abloh include Kanye West’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ and ‘Yeezus’, Kanye and Jay-Z’s project ‘Watch The Throne’, Uzi Vert’s ‘Luv Is Rage 2’ and the controversial cover for Pop Smoke’s posthumous studio album ‘Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon’.
