The 90s were considered one of the most great times for the pop culture. The style had it’s own pros  and cons, however it did create a statement. In this blog, we try to rediscover some trends which  have been forgotten about. From low-waist jeans to bushy eyebrows making a comeback, it’s quite  evident that the past trends find a way back to the modern world. Vintage fashion too, has become a  novelty for many. Finally, lets have a look at the Top 10 ‘90s fashion trends - 

1. Overalls with the Straps Down  

This piece of clothing was shown of by various stars in movies, music videos. It was also  showcased by a number of supermodels on stage. It was one of the most popular trends back in the  era. The best way to wear these was with either one or both the straps down along with a T-shirt / shirt worn inside. Will Smith’s 90s acid wash overalls worn in Fresh Prince created one of the most  iconic looks. 

2. Biker Shorts 

To be worn inside the gym or outside for a walk, biker shorts took the 90s Era by storm. This was  first introduced by celebrities like Madonna and Jane Fonda and continued to make it’s way through  the industry. However, the show-stopping moment for this trend was set by none other than Princess  Diana herself, when she was seen wearing a pair of bright orange biker shorts with an oversized  sweatshirt. This trend was one to make a comeback with the help of Kim Kardashian, Naomi  Campbell and Off-White ! 

3. Bucket Hats  

This trend started from the late ‘80s because of celebs like LL Cool J and Jam Master Jay. It  continued to trend in the nineties too, as a hip-hop style. Some celebs who sported the bucket hats  in the 90s included Dennis Rodman, Jennifer Aniston, Tyra Banks just to name a few. Like the biker  shorts, this trend has also made a comeback in 2022, where bucket hats were seen worn by Rihanna,  Justin Bieber and All Saints. 

4. Cargo Pants

A pair of cargo pants took the mainstream fashion to another level. They ended up becoming an  essential part of one’s wardrobe in the 90s. This piece of clothing had a multiple number of pockets  which made it ideal for the teenagers to carry a large number of accessories like pagers, gameboy  consoles, wallets and so on. Pink was seen wearing a multi pocket cargo pants at the 90s VMA  awards and the famous couple Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston were often spotted wearing the pants. 

5. Tracksuits with Track Jackets  

You can say that this was the most versatile clothing created in 90s. They were literally worn by  almost everyone. It could range from being worn by hip-hop stars to footballers, from rockstars to  movie celebrities and even by grandpas ! The tracksuits and jackets were known for being bright,  sporty, loud and colourful. This trend became so well-known that it soon entered the world of high 

end designer labels, filling up the 90s fashion magazines and catwalks.
