Fragment Collabs

As we near the date of one of the most anticipated sneaker releases of the year - the Travis x Fragment x Nike Jordan 1 collab, here's a peak into the genius of Hiroshi Fujiwara, the founder of fragment design:

Maserati x Hiroshi Fujiwara

The ‘godfather of streetwear’ does more than just that. Fujiwara partnered with the iconic italian car brand Maserati as a part of their Maserati Fuoriserie Customisation Program allowing customers to tailor the design of their Maseratis. Titled ‘Itanji’, a japanese term which means ‘non-conformist’, the collaboration is a perfect blend of Fujiwara’s defiant style and Italian engineering excellence. The collaboration consists of two models, the Ghibli Operanera and Ghibli Operabianca, with both cars carrying Fujiwara’s signature, stripped-back style.

Fragment Design x Beats Powerbeats Pro

Fragment Design collaborated with Beats to release a limited-edition Powerbeats Pro. The collab features the Powerbeats Pro in a minimalist, tonal black design featuring the iconic twin-lightning logo on one earbud and Fujiwara’s namesake logo on the other one. This marks the second official product release for the two brands, the first one being the futuristic chrome collection which launched in 2014.

THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON

This one’s for all the anime fans. The collection includes graphic hoodies and T-shirts plus a keychain-sized mascot piece. The graphics on the apparel feature Pikachu and Eevee, as well as a reworking of the fragment design logo into Pokémon-style prints. The keychain also features Pikachu in dark grey, a stark contrast from Pikachu’s usual bright yellow colouring.

Fragment design x Burtle Ventilated Vest

The fragment x Burtle utility vest comes in all-black and features five pockets for stashing essentials. A circular UE and fragment dyed in bright blue font is spelled on the
left side of the chest. The most unique detail on the vest, however, is a duo of 13V high-performance fans that are activated by squeezing the drawcord on the interior side of the hem. The vest also comes with a battery that can be charged from a PC. Talk about technology.

Fragment design x FRESHTHINGS Yo-Yo

Owner of FRESHTHINGS,  Hiroyuki Suzuki, best known as a four-time world yo-yo champion collaborated with fragment design to create a fully functioning, high-spec toy. The high priced premium toy features a sleek titanium shell which makes it more of a display item instead of a toy. The item comes with a minimalist box and subtle fragment branding across its exterior, and weighs barely anything, making it a good option for only some casual yo-yoing.
